No shocking result in a game when third ranked Taby Basket (12-5) smashed at home 7th ranked Jamtland II (8-9) 100-61 on Sunday. Taby Basket dominated on the defensive end, holding Jamtland II to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Jamtland II's 14. They outrebounded Jamtland II 44-26 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taby Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Kasper Adolfsson (193-95) fired 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Carl Tjernberg (185-98) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Taby Basket players scored in double figures. Loser Jamtland II keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Taby Basket will face KFUM Uppsala (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Jamtland II will play against KFUM Lidingo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
