National League top team - Maccabi Rehovot (16-5) added another victory to their record on Tuesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Elitzur Yavne (8-13) 91-86. American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado, agency: Ron Sport) nailed 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and swingman Gur Porat (197-79) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. American center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Elitzur Yavne in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Elitzur Yavne's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Maccabi Rehovot maintains first place with 16-5 record. Elitzur Yavne lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Maccabi H/H and Hap.Haifa. Maccabi Rehovot will meet Hap.Haifa (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Elitzur Yavne will play against Maccabi K/M and hope to secure a win.
