Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Zagreb: Cedevita (#2) and Zagreb (#11). Zagreb was defeated at home 81-94. The game was mostly controlled by Cedevita. Zagreb was better in fourth quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cedevita shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-84) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Cedevita. Defending champion (15-1) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Zadar. Zagreb lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Cedevita will face KK Zabok (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zagreb will play against Kastela (#13) in Kastela Sucurac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
