Rather predictable result when second ranked Speyer (20-2) outscored on the road 5th ranked TV Langen (13-9) 102-67 on Saturday. They outrebounded TV Langen 52-33 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Speyer looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jordan Rezendes (188, college: Mass.-Dartmouth) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Spanish center Eduard Arques (202-94) chipped in 27 points and 8 rebounds.
