Regular Season Round 26: Andujar - San Fernando 76-61

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked San Fernando (8-13) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Andujar (5-15) 76-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Andujar. San Fernando was better in fourth quarter 12-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was forward David Suka-Umu (197-77) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Javier Anton (198) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Center Diego Gallardo (198-89) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and Jose Ruiz (200-97) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Andujar have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position in Group D-Permam with 5-15 record. San Fernando lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 13 games lost. Andujar will face higher ranked Benahavis (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. San Fernando will play against Unicaja-Andalucia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
