Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Nigerian power forward Maxie Esho (206-91, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Joshua Munzon (191-95, college: CS Los Angeles) added 25 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Westports MD. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saigon Heat maintains sixth position with 9-7 record. Westports MD at the other side keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. Saigon Heat's next round opponent will be again Westports MD (#7) in Kuala Lumpur. Westports MD will play on the road against CLS Knights in Surabaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
