Regular Season Round 27: Petkim - Orman Genclik 65-70

Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Orman Genclik (13-14) defeated on the road 14th ranked Socar Petkim (7-20) 70-65. It was a good game for American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Bulgarian power forward Kaloyan Ivanov (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Socar Petkim. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Orman Genclik moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Akhisar Bld and Bakirkoy. Socar Petkim at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 20 games lost. Orman Genclik's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Samsun (#18) at home and are hoping to win another game. Socar Petkim will play against Ankara D.S.I. (#17) and hope to win that game.
