Everything went according to plan when second ranked Bursaspor (21-6) outscored at home 8th ranked Akhisar Bld (13-14) 85-60. Bursaspor made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Bursaspor outrebounded Akhisar Bld 46-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Ali Isik (206-90) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Serhat Ugur (192-85) answered with 14 points and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Akhisar Bld. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bursaspor. They maintain second place with 21-6 record having five points less than leader Turk Telekom. Akhisar Bld at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Bursaspor's next round opponent will be Acibadem (#6) in Istanbul. Akhisar Bld will play at home against the league's leader Turk Telekom and hope to win that game.
