An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Norrkoping. Second ranked Norrkoping Dolphins faced 4th ranked Sodertalje Kings. Host Norrkoping Dolphins (19-7) defeated guests from Sodertalje (13-13) 79-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sodertalje Kings. The game without a history. Norrkoping Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Gerry Blakes (193-93, college: Arizona St.) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Aaron Anderson (200-91, college: Kennesaw St.) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Croatian forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sodertalje Kings. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains second position with 19-7 record behind leader BC Lulea. Sodertalje Kings at the other side keep the fourth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Boras. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against Boras Basket (#5) at home in the next round. Sodertalje Kings will play against Uppsala Basket and hope to get back on the winning track.
