Regular Season Round 27: COB - Naron 46-54

Everything could happen in Ourense at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Naron and 10th ranked COB had identical 10-14 record. But COB was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Naron 54-46 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 13-3 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Naron dominated on the defensive end, holding COB to just 3 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 22 COB turnovers. It was a good game for American Shanon Fowler (-93) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Center Pablo Roman (206-95) answered with 8 points and 10 rebounds and Daniel Fernandez (195-99) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for COB. The victory was the third consecutive win for Naron. They moved-up to tenth place in Group A-B. Loser COB dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Naron will face Rosalia (#12) in Santiago de Camp. in the next round. COB will play at home against Innova Chef and hope to win that game.
