Regular Season Round 28: Orman Genclik - Samsun 78-75

Eighteenth-ranked Samsun (5-23) made lots of trouble for ninth ranked Orman Genclik (14-14) in Ankara. Orman Genclik managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected much easier game. The winners were led by Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) who scored that evening 22 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh) supported him with 15 points and 9 assists. Even 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Tyshawn Taylor (191-90, college: Kansas, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Samsun. His fellow American import forward Mikael Hopkins (206-93, college: Georgetown) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side. Samsun's coach Servet Ozsuner tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Orman Genclik have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Akhisar Bld. Samsun lost seventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Orman Genclik's next round opponent will be Duzce Belediye (#13) on the road where they are favorite. Samsun will play against Ankara D.S.I. (#15) and hope to win that game.
