Semi-Finals Game 2: Fyllingen BBK - Kongsberg 94-110

Kongsberg upset Fyllingen on the road to sweep the semifinal series. It looked good early as Fyllingen BBK took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kongsberg took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 16 points. They made 27-of-32 charity shots (84.4 percent) during the game, while Fyllingen BBK only scored ten points from the stripe. Kongsberg forced 21 Fyllingen BBK turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Cuban-American guard Juan Ferrales (187-91, college: Barry) contributed with 29 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Kongsberg players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) replied with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M) added 19 points and 19 rebounds in the effort for Fyllingen BBK. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
