No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Amyntas Dafnis (12-10) beat 11th ranked Marousi (9-13) in Athens 65-56 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 36-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Amyntas Dafnis forced 19 Marousi turnovers. Marousi was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for forward Spyros Diamantopoulos (197-83) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Panag Koukounias (199-88) contributed with 7 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Christos Dakoulias (186-87) replied with 11 points and 4 assists and guard Pavlos Xydas (185-93) added 11 points in the effort for Marousi. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Amyntas Dafnis moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ethnikos and Doxa Lefkadas.
