Everything could happen in Ulm at the game between two tied teams. Both fifteenth ranked Baunach and 16th ranked OrangeAcademy had identical 6-21 record. But OrangeAcademy was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Baunach 92-90 on Sunday night. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. OrangeAcademy was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Louis Olinde (205-98) fired 29 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Australian guard William McDowell-White (195-98, college: Fresno St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Austrian point guard David Kramer (191-97) produced 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Hungarian point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97) added 15 points and 14 assists respectively for lost side. OrangeAcademy's coach Daniel Jansson let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Baunach (7-21) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Ehingen. Newly promoted OrangeAcademy stay dead last with 22 lost games. Baunach will face higher ranked Phoenix Hagen (#7) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. OrangeAcademy will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
