There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Nardo (13-13) won against on the road higher ranked Senigallia (15-11) 88-79 on Sunday. Swingman Alessandro Poti (192-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Romanian forward Alin-Giani Zaharie (198-94) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Nardo players scored in double figures. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (184-83, agency: Players Group) replied with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Senigallia. Nardo moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Desio. Loser Senigallia dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. Nardo will face league's second-placed Recanati at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
