Very expected game when 8th ranked Kozuv (8-12) was rolled over on the road by third ranked MZT Skopje (14-5) 88-57. MZT Skopje forced 19 Kozuv turnovers. It was a great shooting night for MZT Skopje especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The former international Andrej Maslinko (208-97, agency: BeoBasket) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-90, college: Bowling Green) contributed with 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Serbian swingman Miladin Pekovic (197-83, agency: BeoExcell) replied with 12 points and 7 assists and center Martin Salev (203-96) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kozuv. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains third position with 14-5 record having six points less than leader Rabotnicki. Kozuv at the other side keeps the eighth place with 12 games lost. MZT Skopje will play against Ohrid AV (#7) on the road in the next round. Kozuv will play against Pelister Bitola and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
