An exciting game was when second ranked Second ranked Taiyuan Textile faced 4th ranked Taipower. Taiyuan Textile (10-7) smashed Taipower (0-17) 76-49. They outrebounded Taipower 47-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Taiyuan Textile players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for international forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-92) who led her team to a victory with 39 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Pei-Chen Tsai (186-84) contributed with 4 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Taiyuan Textile's coach Zhiwei Wu felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international guard Shih-Chieh Chang (172-86) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Hsien-Fang Lin (168-91) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Taipower. Taiyuan Textile maintains second position with 10-7 record having six points less than leader Cathay Life. Taipower at the other side still closes the standings.
