Everything went according to plan in Santa Cruz de Ten. where fourth ranked Villarrobledo (19-6) beat 6th ranked Tenerife Naut. (14-11) 84-73 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Arturo Fernandez (182-90) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Vadal Faniel (201-92, college: Texas A&M Int.) who added 24 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Danish center Sami Eleraky (213-93, college: Pacific) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-91) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Villarrobledo have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in Group B with 19-6 record. Loser Tenerife Naut. keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Villarrobledo will face league's leader Azuqueca at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
