Regular Season Round 28: UAF Lucentum - Lliria 53-74

No shocking result in a game in Alicante where eighth ranked Lliria (10-12) outleveled 11th ranked UAF Lucentum (4-18) 74-53 on Saturday. They outrebounded UAF Lucentum 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of center Candido Matoso (207-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and forward David Guardia (200-90) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Aldo Serneguet (-96) responded with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Pablo Matarredona scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. UAF Lucentum's coach Fernando Supervia gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Lliria moved-up to seventh place in Group E, which they share with Cartagena. UAF Lucentum lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
