Regular Season Round 27: CFBB - RAC Basket 86-91

Very expected game in Paris where 18th ranked CFBB (1-27) was defeated by third ranked Rueil (20-7) 91-86 on Saturday. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. CFBB was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St., agency: Athleadz) who scored 32 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Karim Gourari (204-89) chipped in 7 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Rueil players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ivan Fevrier (204-99) who recorded a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Timothe Crusol (185-1) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rueil have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 20-7 record having just two points less than leader Gries/Oberhoffen. CFBB lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 27 lost games. Rueil will face SAP Vaucluse (#16) in Sorgues in the next round which should be an easy win for them. CFBB will play on the road against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier and hope to win that game.
