Very predictable result when eighth ranked Kymis (9-11) defeated at home 13th ranked Panionios (5-15) 95-83 on Sunday. They outrebounded Panionios 34-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cameron Jones (193-89, college: N.Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who added 26 points and 6 assists during the contest. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Kymis players scored in double figures. Kymis' coach Giannis Kastritis used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. French point guard Boris Dallo (196-94, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Tyrone Brazelton (184-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) scored 7 points and 11 assists. Kymis moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kolossos HH. Newly promoted Panionios keeps the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Kymis will face bottom-ranked Aiolos Trikallon (#14) in Trikala in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Panionios will play at home against Lavrio and hope to win that game.
