Regular Season Round 26: Aquimisa LZ - Agustinos-Leclerc 84-66

We should mention about the upset which took place in Zamora, where 12th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (10-16) lost to fifteenth ranked Zamorano (8-18) in a road game 66-84 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Zamorano. Agustinos-Leclerc was better in fourth quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zamorano made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Javier Hernandez (182-92) who scored 17 points and 5 assists. Forward Adrian Mendez (195-93) chipped in 8 points and 11 rebounds. Four Zamorano players scored in double figures. Slovenian forward Andraz Kavas (208-92, college: Harding, agency: Two Points) produced 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American forward Donovan Smith (206, college: Quinnipiac) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. They have a solid three-game winning streak. Zamorano maintains fifteenth position with 8-18 record. Loser Agustinos-Leclerc keeps the twelfth place with 16 games lost. Zamorano will face higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (#4) in Avila in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
