Everything went according to plan in S'Arenal where fifth ranked Palma II (15-7) beat 8th ranked Olivar (9-13) 81-76 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Joan Bernacer (196-99, college: Austin Peay St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Joan Clar who added 13 points during the contest. Palma II's coach Pau Tomas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side guard Carlos Alocen (189-0) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Czech point guard Vit Krejci (193-0) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Olivar players scored in double figures. Palma II moved-up to fourth place in Group C-B, which they share with Igualada. Loser Olivar dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. Palma II will face Mollet (#6) on the road in the next round. Olivar will play against Cornella and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
