There was no surprise when 12th ranked Oleggio (11-16) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Cecina (14-13) 69-64 on Sunday. Cecina made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for point guard Francesco Forti (183-94, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 6 assists. Power forward Leonardo Salvadori (198-93, agency: Players Group) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Edoardo Gallazzi (200-86) with 23 points and Dominican guard Shaquille Hidalgo (188-94) scored 15 points. Cecina moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Desio. Loser Oleggio dropped to the tenth position with 16 games lost. Cecina will face Moncalieri (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oleggio will play against Piombino (#5) and hope to win that game.
