Enosis outscored Etha in the opener. The game without a history. Enosis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Etha to just 4 points in second quarter. Enosis dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Etha's 34. Enosis forced 21 Etha turnovers. American guard Teyvon Myers (188-94, college: W.Virginia) stepped up and scored 30 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 21 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Enosis' coach Nikolas Papadopoulos felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international power forward Christos Panayiotou (196-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and international forward Petros Papamichael (190-95) scored 7 points and 10 rebounds.
