Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Tsmoki II (20-19) and Brest (9-31), which took place in Brest. 6th ranked Tsmoki II lost to ninth ranked Brest in a road game 74-81 on Friday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Tsmoki II. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. They outrebounded Tsmoki II 48-36 including a 39-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Brest looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The winners were led by forward Konstantin Solyshko (196-96) who scored that evening 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Kirill Vinokurov supported him with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Brest players scored in double figures. Brest's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds by power forward Vitali Lebedev (200-99) did not help to save the game for Tsmoki II. Point guard Maksim Korattsou (171-98) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Brest moved-up to eighth place. Loser Tsmoki II keeps the sixth position with 19 games lost. Brest will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tsmoki II will play against Prinemanye (#7) in Grodno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
