Regular Season Round 31: Nishinomiya S. - Shimane SM 75-94

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Hyogo where sixth ranked Shimane Magic (8-41) outscored 5th ranked Nishinomiya S. (9-40) 94-75 on Saturday. They outrebounded Nishinomiya S. 38-24 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shimane Magic shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Five Shimane Magic and four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Newly promoted Shimane Magic maintains sixth place with 8-41 record. Nishinomiya S. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with 40 games lost. Shimane Magic will face higher ranked Osaka Evessa (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nishinomiya S. will play against Yokohama BC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
