Very predictable result in Afyonkarahisar where fourth ranked Afyon Bld (21-9) smashed bottom-ranked Samsun (6-24) 92-68. They outrebounded Samsun 43-25 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Hadi Ozdemir (203-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Ibrahim Yildirim (190-90) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Afyon Bld players scored in double figures. American guard Tyshawn Taylor (191-90, college: Kansas, agency: Interperformances) replied with 22 points and 6 assists and the former international Ulug Kacaniku (202-85) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Samsun. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Afyon Bld moved-up to third place, which they share with Selcuklu. Samsun at the other side stay dead last with 24 lost games. Afyon Bld's next round opponent will be Duzce Belediye (#13) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Samsun will play against Bakirkoy (#11) and hope to win that game.
