Important game to mention about took place in Fukushima. Fourth ranked Dragonflies (25-23) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging much higher ranked Fukushima (28-18) 77-76 on Saturday evening. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) nailed 20 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) accounted for 9 points and 8 rebounds. Dragonflies' coach Jamie Andrisevic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Nigerian center Solomon Alabi (216-88, college: Florida St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and forward Shyuhei Muto (192-91) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for Fukushima in the defeat. Dragonflies have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Ehime OV. Fukushima at the other side keeps the second position with 18 games lost. Dragonflies will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fukushima will play again at home against Dragonflies and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
