The game had a very big importance for second-ranked SIG Strasbourg as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Monaco) loss. SIG Strasbourg defeated 17th ranked Boulazac Basket at home 88-75. The game without a history. Boulazac Basket will play next round against strong Monaco trying to get back on the winning streak.
