Bottom-ranked Jazine managed to get a fourth victory. This time newly promoted Jazine won against eleventh-ranked Zagreb in Zadar 101-97. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 36-11. But Zagreb won second period 28-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Jazine made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Zagreb was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Slovenian point guard Mirza Sarajlija (187-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) stepped up and scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and French forward Remi Barry (203-91, college: N.Mexico St.) chipped in 25 points and 5 steals. Jazine's coach Luka Bujas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Ante Krapic (203-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and Luka Tomas (191-99) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Jazine and five Zagreb players scored in double figures. Jazine (4-16) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Zagreb. Jazine will play against higher ranked KK Zabok (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zagreb will play against Split (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
