Leading Olimpia (27-5) recorded its fifth loss in Grodno. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Gorizont (21-11) 65-56. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Gorizont forced 22 Olimpia turnovers. The former international Maryia Filonchyk (189-92) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Alena Holubeva (179-94) supported her with 19 points. Gorizont's coach Nataliya Trafimava allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds by forward Natallia Dashkevich (188-88) did not help to save the game for Olimpia. Forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (180-87) added 13 points and 13 rebounds. Gorizont maintains third position with 21-11 record having six points less than leader COR Victoria. Olimpia at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. They share the position with Tsmoki-Minsk. Gorizont's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena Tsmoki-Minsk.
