Regular Season Round 24: Kastoria - Ermis Agias 77-59

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Kastoria (15-9) defeated at home 10th ranked Ermis Agias (10-14) 77-59. The game was mostly controlled by Kastoria. Ermis Agias was better in fourth quarter 11-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by forward Danis Eleftheriadis (197-89) who scored that evening 11 points and 6 rebounds and the former international power forward Tasos Charismidis (203-81) supported him with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 11 points and 7 rebounds by forward Dimitris Lolas (203-86) did not help to save the game for Ermis Agias. Power forward Nikos Kalles (211-87) added 8 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kastoria have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Kastoria maintains fifth position with 15-9 record. Ermis Agias lost third consecutive game. Ermis Agias at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth place with 14 games lost. Kastoria's next round opponent will be Karditsas (#13) and are hoping to win another game. Ermis Agias will play against Amyntas Dafnis and hope to win that game.
