Regular Season Round 22: Ironi Nahariya - Hapoel Holon 81-99

Winner League top team - Hapoel Holon (17-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eleventh ranked Ironi Nahariya (7-15) 99-81. It looked good early as Ironi Nahariya took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hapoel Holon had a 31-17 second period charge getting the lead and Ironi Nahariya was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 81-99. Hapoel Holon players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Ironi Nahariya's players. American swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) notched 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and naturalized American forward Joe Alexander (203-86, college: W.Virginia) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon's coach Dan Shamir used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by naturalized Swedish power forward Jonathan Skjoldebrand (204-83, agency: Ron Sport) did not help to save the game for Ironi Nahariya. New Zealand guard Corey Webster (188-88, college: Lambuth, agency: Alti Sport) added 16 points and 4 assists for lost side. Hapoel Holon maintains first position with 17-5 record.
