Regular Season Round 25: Hap.Haifa - Hapoel B/S 92-99

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Hapoel B/S (17-8) beat on the road 12th ranked Hap.Haifa (9-16) 99-92. Hapoel B/S players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Ron Sport) nailed a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winning side and naturalized American Tony Younger (198-80, college: Spring Hill) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. Hapoel B/S's coach Yaniv Burger allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-91, agency: Paris Global Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 15 rebounds and American power forward Jervon Pressley (203-95, college: Hampton) added 20 points respectively for Hap.Haifa in the defeat. Four Hap.Haifa players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Hapoel B/S. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Elitzur K-A and Maccabi Raanana. Hap.Haifa lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Elitzur Yavne and Hapoel Afula. Hapoel B/S will play against Hapoel Afula (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hap.Haifa will play against Hap.R/G Givat. in Givataim and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
