Bottom-ranked Catanduva (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 80-70 loss to eighth ranked SBC/Brazolin/UNIP (4-9) in Caranduva. Newly promoted SBC/Brazolin/UNIP maintains eighth place with 4-9 record. Catanduva lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. SBC/Brazolin/UNIP's next round opponent will be higher ranked Pres.Valceslau (#7) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Catanduva will play against Santo Andre and hopes to get finally their first victory.
