Regular Season Round 31: Amsterdam - Den Bosch 82-93

Date: April 4, 2018
The game in Amsterdam was also quite interesting. Second ranked Den Bosch (21-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Amsterdam (8-19). Den Bosch defeated Amsterdam 93-82 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Amsterdam. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Amsterdam managed to win fourth quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Den Bosch looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points. The former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side the former international swingman Dimeo Van-Der-Horst (197-91) responded with 16 points and 4 assists and power forward Jesse Markusse (206-92) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Den Bosch have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 21-5 record behind leader Groningen. Loser Amsterdam keeps the sixth position with 19 games lost. Den Bosch will meet at home bottom-ranked Weert (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Amsterdam will have a break next round.
