The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-70. Kongsberg outrebounded Asker Aliens 48-28 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) fired 9 points, 19 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. American guard Fred Thomas (196-93, college: Mississippi St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. DR Congolese forward Djo Loo-Yele (203-82) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Aksel Bolinz (201-90, college: N.Illinois) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
