Very expected game in Morón de la Frontera where 14th ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (10-18) was defeated by eighth ranked Moron (15-14) 83-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Moron. Agustinos-Leclerc was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jose-Antonio Marco (179-89) who added 7 points and 10 assists during the contest. Moron's coach Rafael Rufian used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Slovenian forward Andraz Kavas (208-92, college: Harding, agency: Two Points) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Donovan Smith (206, college: Quinnipiac) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Moron maintains eighth position with 15-14 record. Agustinos-Leclerc lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Moron will face higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (#4) in Avila in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Agustinos-Leclerc will play at home against Plasencia (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
