Regular Season Round 26: Hapoel K/S - Elitzur Yavne 76-88
Date: April 10, 2018
An interesting game took place in Kfar Saba, where 7th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (11-15) lost at home to tenth ranked Elitzur Yavne (10-16) 76-88. Elitzur Yavne players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Hapoel Kfar Saba's players. American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) notched 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and naturalized American swingman Desi Barmore (203-90, college: CS San Bernar.) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Even 29 points and 9 rebounds by American guard Byron Wesley (196-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Hapoel Kfar Saba. His fellow American import power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Elitzur Yavne maintains tenth position with 10-16 record. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side dropped to the eighth place with 15 games lost.
