Not a big story in a game in Athens where 16th ranked Doukas (3-23) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Marousi (10-16) 89-80 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-80. Marousi forced 20 Doukas turnovers. Point guard Orfeas Stasinos (183-98) scored 24 points, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and guard Christos Dakoulias (186-87) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Marousi's coach Kostas Keramidas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Alexis Kiritsis (198-82) responded with 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Stelios Ioannou (196-87) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Marousi moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Papagou and Karditsas. Doukas lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games.
