Very predictable result when second ranked Entente Orleans 45 (22-6) beat on the road 11th ranked ALM Evreux (12-16) 85-68. The game was mostly controlled by Entente Orleans 45. ALM Evreux was better in second period 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded ALM Evreux 38-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: Inception Sports) who scored that evening 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) supported him with 16 points and 4 assists. Entente Orleans 45's coach Germain Castano used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 13 points and 5 assists by American point guard Jerrold Brooks (183-91, college: S.Mississippi) did not help to save the game for ALM Evreux. Steeve Ho-You-Fat (202-88) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Entente Orleans 45 maintains second position with 22-6 record behind leader Blois. ALM Evreux lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Entente Orleans 45's next round opponent will be Poitiers (#14) at home which should be an easy win for them. ALM Evreux will play against Charleville-Mezieres and hope to win that game.
