Important game to mention about took place in Roma. Ninth ranked Catanzaro (14-15) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging leader Palestrina (23-5) 80-78 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. Argentinian guard Nicolas Morici (192-94, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and guard Pasquale Battaglia (188-93) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four Catanzaro players scored in double figures. Catanzaro moved-up to eighth place in B. Palestrina at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Catanzaro will play against Capo d'Orlando (#10) at home in the next round. Palestrina will play against Salerno (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
