Regular Season Round 28: Rosa - TBV Start 72-70

Important game to mention about took place in Radom. Eighth ranked Rosa (18-14) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 12th ranked Start (15-15) 72-70 on Sunday evening. International swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) fired a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Canadian center Michael Fraser (203-84, college: Oklah.Baptist) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) produced 27 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Rosa moved-up to seventh place, which they share with King. Loser Start keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Rosa will face bottom-ranked Legia (#17) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Start will play at home against AZS Koszalin (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
