There was a surprise result in Barcelona where tenth ranked JAC Sants (10-15) edged 3rd placed Igualada (17-8) 57-56 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Sergi Marco (194-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Javier Balastegui (187-97) helped adding 14 points. At the losing side center Eduard Tejero (195-92) responded with 12 points and center Micky Garcia (206-85, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 12 points. Igualada's coach Jordi Marti tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JAC Sants moved-up to ninth place in Group C-B, which they share with Mataro Feimat. Loser Igualada keeps the third position with eight games lost. JAC Sants will face bottom-ranked Mataro Feimat (#10) on the road in the next round. Igualada will play against Cerdanyola (#14) and hope to win that game.
