Regular Season Round 30: Aquimisa LZ - Martorell 95-71

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 16th ranked Martorell's (6-24) road loss to fifteenth ranked Zamorano (10-20) 71-95. The game was mostly controlled by Zamorano. Martorell was better in second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zamorano dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Martorell's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Chris Hansen (193-93, college: Idaho St.) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Christopher Iza (206-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Four Zamorano players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Xavi Guirao (190-87) who recorded 19 points and guard David Jofresa (185-95) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zamorano moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Agustinos-Leclerc. Newly promoted Martorell stay dead last with 24 lost games.
