Very expected game when 15th ranked Palermo GB (8-22) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Vicenza (20-10) 83-67 on Sunday. Vicenza dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Palermo GB's 42. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Palermo GB's players. Naturalized Argentinian center Diego Corral (203-86, agency: Interperformances) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Andrea Campiello (200-87) chipped in 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Andrea Lombardo (197-90) with 17 points and 5 assists and power forward Alessandro Cecchetti (200-91) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vicenza have a solid four-game winning streak.
