Very expected game in Capo d'Orlando where 15th ranked Betaland Cdo (6-21) was defeated by fourth ranked Scandone AV (18-9) 77-73. Scandone AV outrebounded Betaland Cdo 45-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Nigerian-American power forward Olaseni Lawal (208-86, college: Wayne St., MI, agency: 3Eye) who led the winners and scored 7 points and 13 rebounds. Ukrainian center Kyrylo Fesenko (216-86) accounted for 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Lawal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Scandone AV's coach Stefano Sacripanti used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Serbian guard Vojislav Stojanovic (199-97) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina, agency: Two Points) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Betaland Cdo in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Scandone AV. They maintain fourth place with 18-9 record. Betaland Cdo at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 21 games lost.
