Borrkoping held off Boras to win the series 4-1. Norrkoping Dolphins players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 87 blocks. Boras Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Gerry Blakes (193-93, college: Arizona St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard Eugene Harris (187-86, college: High Point) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) added 12 points in the effort for Boras Basket.
