Regular Season Round 32: Andujar - Benahavis 75-78

Ninth-ranked Andujar (7-19) made lots of trouble for second ranked Benahavis (13-14) on Saturday. The visitors from Benahavis managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Willie Williams (200-88, college: Bridgeport) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Diego Ruiz (192) who added 20 points during the contest. Four Benahavis players scored in double figures. Point guard Eugenio Martinez (182-1) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward David Suka-Umu (197-77) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Benahavis have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Benahavis maintains second position in Group D-Permam with 13-14 record having eight points less than leader Vic. Andujar lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 19 games lost. Benahavis will meet at home Unicaja-Andalucia (#6) in the next round. Andujar will play against Utrera and hope to secure a win.
